RP Book Club – The Communist Manifesto (Part 1)

RP Book Club: The Communist Manifesto, by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels 

Sunday April 7^th, 14^th, and 21^st at 3pm ET/12 noon PT 

Join us to discuss Marx and Engels’ ever-relevant insights into the capitalist system, its devastating impact on human existence, its susceptibility to crises, and its fundamental weakness. The book presents a materialist analysis of history, including the transition from feudalism to capitalism. We also look forward to a lively discussion of the 10 demands of international communism from our vantage point as MMT-informed activists. 

Register once for all three sessions: Sunday April 7^th, 14^th, and 21^st, at 3pm ET/12 noon PT 

During each session we will listen to a reading of the text, followed by open discussion. All are encouraged to participate!
