Environmental & Ecological Justice is the least of what we owe to the Earth, to our children.
We have plastics floating in our oceans & cities like Flint, MI, still don't have clean water.
There are only 10 years left before we cause irreparable harm to the carbon balance in the world.

We are here to help teach the 99%.
This is how we work together and win.
By subsidizing renewables instead of carbon-based energy, we can work to get our carbon imprint to zero or less.
Education and other supportive assistance for communities with high percentage of fossil fuel workers
It will also require changes to our social structures away from authoritarian models and toward more democratic institutions with power in the hands of the people.

Natural Resources
MMT explains that money is the one thing we have in infinite supply. Natural resources however, the supply is becoming extremely finite, especially clean air, potable water, and habitable fertile lands. Protecting our natural resources is not only possible, but necessary for our survival on this planet, and by using our Government’s ability as the currency issuer to “buy any resources available in the economy”, we could make massive investments in restoring and protecting our land, sea, and air, without worry of finding the money or needing to turn a profit.

Sustainability
In a world of ever shrinking natural resources, it’s crucial that we find ways to do more with less, reducing the drain on finite materials and creating less waste. Agricultural transitions to the growing, processing and manufacturing of Hemp as a renewable/sustainable fuel, textile, wood/paper, clothing, plastic, and food source, for example. Knowing that large monetary investments into new technology and jobs to accomplish these goals is just a matter of adjusting fiscal policy and allocating resources, (and not finding tax dollars to pay for it), we can make these large scale public investments today.

Energy
Adequate energy production and sustainability for an ever growing population balanced with the need to reduce waste, emissions, and fuel usage, and we’re looking at quite the quagmire. Solar and wind tech is more efficient than ever, and Thorium nuclear technology has shown great promise as a clean replacement for coal, oil, gas, and plutonium nuclear, but the main hurdle seems to be the cost. Imagine the possibilities for transforming our energy grid if Congress acted today knowing that the US Govt can literally buy or finance anything it wants.
